En Freelance Folder nos ofrecen una lista de 25 blogs que podemos visitar y consultar para estar al tanto de lo que sucede en los Medios Sociales o Social Media,  ya sea para saber las nuevas tendencias o sobre como usar el SM a favor de nuestro sitio, causa o empresa.

bbsDesde Usenet hasta Twitter, el Social Media ha ido evolucionando a pasos agigantados, sobre todo en estos últimos tiempos que han tenido un boom de gran aceptación y cada vez son más los usuarios de estas comunidades virtuales los que se comunican a través de internet con sus semejantes, conocidos y desconocidos.

Las redes sociales se han convertido en una parte fundamental en la vida de muchos. Hay quienes no pueden dejar de compartir lo que están haciendo en este momento, las fotos del verano o los bookmarks que les parecieron interesantes el día de hoy.

Inclusive, existen redes sociales con un número de “habitantes” mayor al de muchos países.


En WebDesignerDepot hacen un recuento de estos sistemas y redes desde sus inicios y precursores, tanto de redes como comunicadores o mensajeros (como IRC o ICQ), pasando por comunidades como la de World of Warcraft, hasta nuestros días con Facebook, Digg, Flikr o Justin.tv.
